CSS Property: margin-inline

The margin-inline property sets the margin at the start and end of an element in the inline direction and is a shorthand for margin-inline-start and margin-inline-end properties. The value for the margin-inline property can be defined in two ways.

If the property has two values: margin-inline: 100px 50px;

The margin at the start is 100px.
The margin at the end is 50px.

If the property has one value: margin-inline: 30px;

The margin at both the start and end is 30px.

The margin-inline and margin-block properties are very similar to margin-top, margin-bottom, margin-right, and margin-left, but they depend on the direction of the block and the inline flow. The related writing-mode and directions properties define the direction in the inline flow. This influences the start and end edges of the element and determines the outcome of the margin-inline property.
