PHP MySQLi affected_rows() - Number of Affected Rows

mysqli_affected_rows()

The mysqli_affected_rows() function returns the number of affected rows in the last SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, REPLACE, or DELETE query. It is extremely useful for verifying whether an operation (e.g., deletion) was actually executed on the database.
