PHP MySQLi mysqli_next_result() - Preparing the Next Result

mysqli_next_result()

The mysqli_next_result() function prepares the next result set from the previous call to the mysqli_multi_query() function, which can then be read using mysqli_store_result().

Practical use: Without this function, we cannot access the second or third query in a batch. It is typically placed within the while condition of a do...while loop to ensure that we process everything the server has sent us.

It moves the pointer to the next result set.

Essential for properly clearing memory after multiple queries.
